I've read the journal. You're right, it's a good read. I know that the other readers would say the same. It made me remember my college days when I was taking up an Electronics 101 course. I wondered if other people taking up other degrees would understand how we interpret things, like we interpret a radio as stated in the journal. As I've read along, I was beginning to wonder about the direction of the progress of the current stage of technology.
You, as a computer scientist, would know that data management can do a lot of things like data organization for easier accreditation management, data compression to make archives compact, and all those kinds of stuff. But to some, it's just plain keeping data in a computer. Same way how the radio was interpreted by the author. To people like me who have taken up Electronics, we know that the radio has resistors, transistors, and capacitors inside. All of which have a certain purpose, but to the author, he just summarized it to a simple flow chart. I guess it's up to the person who looks into things on how he interprets them.
